Our Floating Garden^tm Kitchen Garden Kit comes with everything you need to get started growing plants without soil. The kit includes a nutrient tray, nutrient, planting bed, basil seeds, planting media, and full instructions. It's a great way to get started investigating (and enjoying) the benefits of growing plants without soil. Our patent-pending Grass Garden^tm hydroponic wheatgrass garden kit is completely renewable. It comes with an initial supply of nutrient and wheatberries. All you do between successive crops is clean the nutrient reservoir and seedling bed and start a fresh crop following our simple instructions. In addition to wheat grass, The Grass Garden can grow mixtures of other grasses including oats, barley, and rye. Other wheatgrass growing products on the market for home use employ media such as potting soil or coco fiber which must be replaced after each crop. Our technology eliminates the need for replacing soil or other growing media for each successive crop and results in considerable cost saving and consistent reproducibility of results.

Our Floating Garden for Ponds System consists of modular units - each complete in themselves - that can be connected to form a plantable island for growing lettuces, mesclun mixes, herbs, chilies, chards, and bok choy in a Koi or Goldfish pond. Our Floating Garden Plant Light Assembly is as an add-on accessory that accommodates our Floating Garden Vegetable Hydroponic Garden Kit . It's also great for potted plants and can also be used with our Floating Garden Kitchen Garden Kit. It is designed for the home and classroom to supplement natural lighting for growing lettuce, mesclun mixes, basil, thyme, oregano, chards, and flowering plants indoors in any season of the year where window lighting may not be adequate. The unit comes complete with an 21" UL listed lighting fixture complete with a 15 watt fluorescent plant light. The height of the light is easily adjustable as your plants grow.

Our Floating Garden Nutrient Powder is specially formulated for our Floating Gardens and is intended only for our Floating Garden Kitchen Kitchen Garden Kit and our Floating Garden Vegetable Hydroponic Garden Kit . Floating Garden Nutrient Powder contains twelve macro and micro nutrients necessary for vigorous plant growth in our Floating Gardens.
The nutrient powder comes in five separate packets - each of which when added to plain tap water, makes one-gallon for a total of five gallons of nutrient solution.
Five gallons are enough for 10 complete fillings of our Floating Garden Kitchen Garden and three complete fillings of our Floating Garden Vegetable Hydroponic Garden. We generally alternate between tap water and nutrient solution between successive fillings or topping off as less nutrient is used by the plants than water due to evaporation and plant respiration.

Our Floating Gardens come with a supply of rockwool cubes to support bedding plants and provide porosity for oxygen transfer to the roots. While the cubes are inert and are potentially re-useable, if your plants grow for lengthy periods, it might be hard to dislodge the cubes from the plant during the replanting process.
Each bag of replacement rockwool cubes is sufficient for replanting 16 net pots. This will suffice for four replanting of the Floating Garden Kitchen Garden and five replantings of the Floating Garden Vegetable Hydroponic Garden.
So when you run out of rockwool cubes, you can order more here.

These ceramic beads are used in our Floating Gardens to help support bedding plants.

Our Floating Gardens come with a supply of porous ceramic beads to support bedding plants. These are inert and re-useable. However, if your plants grow for lengthy periods, it might be hard to dislodge the beads from the plants before each replanting of your Floating Gardens.
Each bag of replacement ceramic beads is sufficient for replanting more than 12 bedding plants in our 2" net pots when used in conjunction with our rockwool cubes.This will suffice for more than three replanting of the Floating Garden Kitchen Garden and four replantings of the Floating Garden Vegetable Hydroponic Garden.
So when you run out of ceramic beads, you can order more here. To our knowledge these porous ceramic beads are unavailable in the United States except from us.
