Our Advanced Floating Garden Hydroponic Garden Kit includes a nutrient aeration system, a root aeration and nutrient delivery system, and comes all the components you need for growing abundant and fast growing crops of leafy vegetables (including mesclun greens) and a variety of herbs, chilies, sugar peas and edible flowers. By providing support for the vines and fruit you can grow highly productive crops of cucumbers and tomatoes. We recommend using determinate varieties of tomato (avoid indeterminate cherry tomatoes and many heirloom varieties as they tend to get very "leggy" and require substantial support.

The Advanced Kit contains:

• a fully assembled 24"x8"x6" deep forest-green plastic reservoir with 1-3/4 gallon nutrient capacity with three cylindrical aerators, airline tubing, airline tees and check valve
• a powerful 110 volt air pump which runs on a few cents of power per day
• a patent-pending floating plant platform with root aeration/nutrient delivery capability, incorporating plastic sheeting to reduce nutrient evaporation and algae growth, a capped-fill port, and openings for three net pots to support your plants
• a packet of basil seeds and a packet of mesclun lettuce mix seeds
• six (6) reusable net pots (three for seeds and three for nursery grown bedding-size plants)
• six (6) reusable rockwool plugs for starting seeds
